The continuation of the previous article, in this article will discuss arguments and errors in arguing. Critical thinking is a skill that we really need and definitely useful for our life. Useful to have many alternative answers and creative ideas, easy to understand the point of view of others, more independent, minimize misperceptions, and make us calm in difficult problems

Refers to Latih Logika’s Video, there is a cause-effect. Argument cause-effect need 2 premises to support the argument that we convey. The cause-effect argument occurs due to the correlation between the two things and the consideration of counter-explanation.

The deductive argument is if all the premises are correct then the conclusions must be correct as well. There are 4 kinds of deductive arguments, namely: Ponens mode (affirmation), Tollens mode (denial), hypothetical syllogism (the process of making conclusions from a possible premise), and the last is disjunctive syllogism (choosing one premise and discarding the other premise).

In the delivery of arguments, we often make mistakes. The first error is that the focus or argument is not focused on the core topic being discussed and irrelevant. The second is to jump logic or draw conclusions without sufficient premise.

In this era, there is a lot of news that is not necessarily the truth. We as millennial must be smart to respond to news critically, such as thorough before believing, thorough before disseminating and can critically assess the writing based on research
